EggKey Gateway is a software that will allow authorized clients to use your Internet connection. Working as a proxy server between your clients and your router or modem.

EggKey Gateway listens to a network adapter which is connected to an wireless access point (See Hardware Requirements for details about hardware setup).

All the clients will receive a private IP address (192.168.11.xxx), so they won't be able to connect to the Internet by themselves.

At the same time, EggKey Gateway will set all the clients' computers to use a proxy server located on the port 8080 of your machine, which is also listened by EggKey Gateway.

As the clients start their browsers, EggKey gateway will check if their machines have purchased rights to use your Internet Connection, if they have, the clients will be able to surf the web as fast as your bandwidth allows. In other hand, if the clients have not registered yet with your HotSpot, they will be automatically redirected to an webpage under www.eggkey.com where your existent plans will be displayed and the clients will be able to select how much access time they want to purchase.

After purchasing access time, they won't be redirected anymore and they will be able to navigate regularly until the time purchased expiration.

At your EggKey Gateway main screen you will be able to see all the time how much money you made so far.
